Printing
There are three different types of printing involved with cards. The main type we see daily on our credit cards is Lithographic printing and is performed whilst the card is being manufacturered (this process has extended delivery times). This allows for post printing of details such as photo and text.
Thermal and Retransfer printing allows for printing of cards with variable information such as logos, photographs, barcodes and text. Using these methods to print cards can be personalised in shorter turn around times. |
